Kruckeberg Botanic Garden

Caring for the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden has been one of the most satisfying endeavors of my lifetime. Being the steward of this space has grounded me in ways that I didn’t know were missing. Each day I walk the grounds looking for the big picture as well as the smallest detail. My intimacy with the garden is far from developed, but it is moving towards the obsessive. There is not much that happens here that escapes my attention and my daily photos encapsulate that. Whether it’s the changes in fall foliage or the tell-tale signs of the resident wildlife, the garden is more than just plants, but an entire ecosystem filled with wonders. Each day, each season, brings new discoveries and welcome returns of favorite moments.
