Elisabeth C Miller Botanical Garden

November 12, 2020

This week marks my 20th year at the Miller Garden. As I walk through the garden, I enjoy it as much today as I did my first day. Even though the leaves are falling there is excitement in the changing of the seasons. Mrs. Miller designed the garden to have as much presence in the fall and winter as it does in the other seasons. It is a joy to see the structure emerge of well-tended trees and shrubs. Expanding the idea of when the garden is beautiful is a critical role of public gardens. Enjoy the last leaves of autumn and take note of the beautiful branching, trunks and bark.
