Seattle Chinese Garden

The Seattle Chinese Garden located in South Seattle gives visitors the experience of a classical Chinese garden. The existing courtyard, pavilion and plantings are the first steps in what will become a nearly five-acre garden. The plant collections include tree peonies at their peak in late April and Hibiscus syriacus blooming in August.

Plants occasionally available for sale.

I love spending time when it's peaceful in the courtyard of the Seattle Chinese Garden, or when it suddenly fills with colorful dancers or the mesmerizing tai chi performers. Outside the courtyard, the peony garden flourishes with lush effulgent bloom in April, while in August the Hibiscus syriacus plantings radiate exuberant color.
