Meerkerk Gardens is a peaceful woodland garden near the midpoint of bucolic Whidbey Island.  The botanical gardens are ablaze with vibrant color in the spring when rhododendrons are at their peak, but you can find something special blooming every month of the year, including January!  Whatever season you choose to visit, a beautiful view overlooking Puget Sound and miles of forest trails are always there to explore after you have strolled the gardens.
